2009 Christmas Cards

Stitched and embossed and cutting
Frame cut using the Cricut
lots of cutting and colouring. Jewels and line stickers
inked edges This one was attached to the card only by the ribbon so it could be removed and made into an ornament
stamped image that has been cut and layered then mounted to the red. jewels adorn the branches and a ribbon graces the side
stamped and cut
stamped, layered, embossed and decorated with flower soft and 3 foam stickers cut to resemble snowflakes
stamped, cut, layered, ribbon
Dry embossed, cut, stitched. ribbon
stamp, emboss, cut and layer words, inked edges
stamp, cut, layered, coloured, flower soft, ribbon
stamp, emboss, cut, layer
dry emboss, cut, stitched, lightly inked
stamp, inked, stickers
the second card i made this year, i had very few supplies and felt it was still missing something. see elsewhere here for the first card i made this year. I stamped the image, embossed it, then i cut it out carefully, layered it together, mounted it on mulberry and added ribbon using staples for some extra pizzazz - actually i did not have anything else to attach the ribbon
found this card online. needed to try it. It was so simple to make! I layered a green red stripe paper in behind. outlined it with antique gold stickers and attached these old candle eyelets i had from years ago and put a ribbon in the corner
another version of others on this page
version 2 of this card. it was fun cutting the words out and deciding which ones to use and layer on. i do not likve the inked edge, but it does look better than the plain white it was before
lots of inking after stitching, since this was white and boring
Here it is, the first card of 2009, made while i was at my dads helping with my step-mom. i had very few supplies and by time i had glued it all down i was really unhappy with it.
this card front was made years ago. it is dry embossed, cut and stitched. The manger scene was coloured using these cremes
stamp, emboss, cut, layer...
cut, embossed, stitch, inking, ribbon
This one is one of my faves!
i was using up scraps that i had cut off from some of the other cards in here.

this one looks like other cards here, but this time i cut out the manger scene and replaced it with a 'crazy for Christmas' sticker.

Another ornament card, it can be removed if desired later
dry embossing and stitching.
the embossing took hours to do
you have seen others here...
May look similar, but no two are fully alike
Traditional colours here
a bit of whimsy

Many may look like others, and elements may be the same, and paper was used in more than one card - seeing as i could get four card fronts from one sheet, but each card is unique.
